## Job description

#### Job Description

We are looking for a **Database Administrator** with experience in **IBM i / OS400 environments** to join our IT team.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Administration, monitoring, performance tuning, backup and recovery of **DB2 databases**.
- Database architecture, data modeling, DDL changes and impact analysis.
- Management of database structures, metadata, authorizations, data dictionaries and technical documentation.
- Administration and maintenance of database and data management tools.
- Management of data updates, data masking, data migrations and population of lower environments using anonymized data.
- Database performance and health monitoring, incident identification and troubleshooting.
- Implementation and management of database and tool changes.
- Management of software version control using **PTC / MKS**.
- Collaboration with application and development teams to optimize database performance and support new requirements.

**Required Technical Skills**

- **DB2 / IBM i (AS400 / OS400)**
- **COBOL, CLP and RPG**
- **Excel, VBA and Macros**
- **IBM i Access Client Solutions (ACS)**
- **SAP PowerDesigner**
- **Alteryx and Qlik Sense**
- **PTC / MKS**

**Profile**

- Experience as a **Database Administrator**, preferably in IBM i / AS400 environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with database performance, data management and change control.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and application teams.
